The new building for Aebly & Associates offices sits at 1471 Union Road in West Seneca, replacing former offices located at 3638 and 3640 Seneca Street. The two-story office space has transformed the previously underutilized properties that stood in it's place with a combination of modernity for today's workforce on the interior and understated historic charm on the exterior. At approximately 6,200 square feet, the state-of-the-art facility boasts a clock tower and a roof top patio for employees to work or relax on during their breaks. Carmina Wood was the architect and we were honored to work with them and owner, Julius Aebly, on such an outstanding project.

This was an exciting project for Picone Construction as we embarked on 42 North's newest location in the historic Wurlitzer building 674 Main Street in the city of Buffalo. Having previously worked with owners to renovate and expand their location in East Aurora, we were honored to have the opportunity to work with them again. The stunning design by Bammel Architects allowed for a perfect blend of modern and vintage and while significant renovations took place, restoration to the existing space was a priority. Just a few doors down from Shea's Performing Arts, the space will certainly be a draw for those seeing a show.
Sono Bello has over 100 centers nationwide and we are honored that they chose Picone Construction to renovate their newest location at 500 Corporate Parkway in Amherst, NY. In just over a decade, Sono Bello has become the leader in advanced liposuction and cosmetic surgery; in order to successfully renovate this space for their needs, Picone created numerous customer consultation areas, surgical/procedure rooms, physician and nurse's offices, a relaxing and welcoming reception area, as well as multi-purpose work stations and employee break rooms totaling approximately 10,000 square feet.
Picone Construction has completed another interior build-out for franchise owners of Crumbl Cookies, this time bringing the take-out bakery to 4154 McKinley Parkway in Hamburg. A Press Release was sent last week announcing the beginning of construction for the Ronald McDonald House of WNY's Access for All project; an ambitious endeavor to enhance accessibility and comfort at the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House.
The mission’s Access for All project includes the following key improvements and renovations: Main Entrance Accessibility: Ramp installation will occur at the House’s main entrance so all guests can enter through the home’s front door. Common Area Enhancements: Adding an accessible bathroom to the first floor and replacing carpet with hard flooring for more effortless mobility from room to room. These enhancements will ensure that all areas of the House are accessible, providing families with mobility challenges the freedom to move around comfortably. Updating the Guest Kitchen to Meet Accessibility Requirements: Includes the elimination of the island to allow for the removal of a wall to gain level access to the rear of the House. The renovations include lowering the countertops' height and adding an accessible sink. This floor plan change will foster an accessible, warm, and inviting atmosphere for guest families, volunteers, and staff. Access to Each Level in the House: The removal of the existing limited-use lift and shaft and the installation of a new three-stop elevator. In addition, a ramp will be installed on the second floor to give access to the front accessible bedroom suites completed in 2018. RMHC of WNY's Executive Director Marianne Hoover says, “At RMHC of WNY, we believe families, regardless of their mobility limitations, should be able to enter the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House through its front door and have access to all the spaces in the heart of the home, including the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The Access for All project will make the house fully accessible so that RMHC of WNY can provide a caring and supportive environment for all families, ensuring that they can focus on what matters most – the health and well-being of their children.” RMHC of WNY is deeply grateful for the generous support of donors, volunteers, and community partners who have made the Access for All project possible. This is the second time that Picone Construction has had the privilege of partnering with the Ronald McDonald House of WNY to make improvements to the living space for its residents.
