Picone Construction has recently begun interior renovations for Perry Village Hall. Work includes the construction of a new hoistway and elevator within the existing building serving the first and second floors. Also included is a limited alteration of the interior spaces for the new hoistway along with a new exterior fire stair from the second floor.
Work includes electric, HVAC, plumbing, exterior and interior concrete, hollow metal doors, concrete unit, asbestos work, metal grating stairs, non-structural metal framing, hydraulic elevators, linoleum flooring, painting, site work, and rebar. 
The architect of record is Flynn Battaglia Architects, D.P.C.

Picone Construction has broken ground on another Tropical Smoothie location just south of Rochester, NY. The Victor, NY location will be the third Tropical Smoothie build-out started by Picone Construction this year.
Work includes electric, HVAC, plumbing, selective demolition, carpentry, millwork, drywall, among several other work items.

Picone Construction has begun the renovation for D'Youville College's pool to a new gymnasium space to be used as a practice facility for several D'Youville teams.
Work included in the project include electric, HVAC, plumbing, selective demolition, concrete, structural steel work, slap-on deck, roofing, painting, and much more.

Picone Construction has recently begun the interior renovations for Temple Beth Tzedek in Williamsville, NY. The scope of the project includes complete demolition and renovation of the existing kitchen and bathrooms toward the front end of the building. New walls will be going up along with new floor tiles within the renovation.
The entirety of the project involves electric work, HVAC, plumbing, hollow metal frames, toilet accessories, and painting.
The architect of record is Sutton Architecture.

Picone Construction has recently completed the interior renovations to the  Niagara County Community College  (NCCC) cafeteria. Renovations to the ceiling, floor, kitchen, and construction of a new structural addition were included in the total scope of the work. 
Work includes electric, HVAC, plumbing, overhead coiling grills, manufactured plastic and laminate, hollow metal doors, unit masonry, cold-formed metal framing, interior painting, grind cafeteria floor, aluminum framing, and metal fabrications.
The architect of record is Foit Albert Associates.

Picone Construction has begun its second project this year in Henrietta, NY with the interior renovation for Crumbl Cookie. The brand new fit-out will give Crumbl Cookie its first location in the state of New York. 
Work includes electric, HVAC, millwork, plumbing, fire protection, millwork, ceramic floor, and metal studs. 
The architect of record is JZW Architects.

​The relocation expanded the unit from 20 beds to 40 beds. The additional 21,000 square foot NICU was relocated adjacent to the hospital's inpatient maternity unit and newborn nursery, creating a centralized location for mother-baby care.
Additionally included were single-family rooms to enhance individual care, a large central technology hub, a dedicated "parents-only" space for overnight accommodations for families, and reduced light and sound control to create a more soothing environment for premature babies.

Picone Construction is underway performing the interior renovations for another Tropical Smoothie location in Henrietta. It is the second interior renovation performed by Picone for Tropical Smoothie this year. 
Work includes electric, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, metal frames, and wood doors, metal studs, drywall, toilet accessories, painting and staining, and ceramic floor work. 
This is the second Tropical Smoothie Picone is performing interior renovations for; the first was performed in Williamsville.
"Communication was common and consistent," says franchisee Jim Breidenstein. "Thanks to Picone Construction for keeping their word and delivering on time and in enjoyable fashion."
Breidenstein went on to remark that Picone Construction should be on the national recommended list for Tropical Smoothie.

The project included a 4,800 sq/ft. addition around the existing circular sacristy along with a new chapel, confessionals, and new ambulatory corridor around the main building.
Also included was the installation of a new relic gallery along with the replacement of existing chapel roofs with domes while the roof around the main building was also replaced.

Picone Construction has recently begun renovating the existing fluoroscopy unit for Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Upgrades to the millwork, cabinetry, and other finishes will make up a majority of the work.
​Work also includes modifications to the existing mechanical and electrical systems as well as the installation of additional steel framing.

The project featured the construction of a brand new 100,000 square foot, four story, 110-room hotel which also included a retail and restaurant space.
Also included in the work was sitework, concrete, plumbing, windows & entrances, doors, door hardware, building insulation, temporary fencing, fire protection, chutes, masonry, structural steel, elevator installation, carpet, wall covering, roofing, landscaping and HVAC.

Picone Construction has began the façade renovation for West Herr Jeep in Orchard Park. Work included to the structure includes exterior sign work, millwork, doors and hardware, gypsum wallboard, flooring, glass glazing, structural steel, painting and wallcover, and roofing.
This renovation marks the third façade renovation within the last year for Picone Construction. Other façades include the work done to Sheridan Surgical and the 1625 Walden Plaza.

This 14,000 square foot state-of-the-art athletic center consists of a 9,500 square foot pre-engineered metal building system and a 4,500 square foot conventional steel framed masonry building.
The gymnasium has seating for approximately 500 people and includes locker rooms, storage, a snack area, fitness room, dance studio, and offices.

Picone Construction has completed the interior fit-out for Tropical Smoothie, located at the corner of Transit Road and Maple Road in Williamsville, NY. The interior renovations come after several months of work to the facility located at one of the busiest intersections in the area.
Work at the facility included electric, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, hollow metal frames and wood doors, metal studs and drywall, toilet accessories, painting and staining work, and ceramic flooring.

Picone Construction has completed the façade renovation for Sheridan Surgical, located on Bailey Avenue in Buffalo, NY. The exterior renovations for the façade included electrical work, a thin brick/cultured stone front finish, windows, Hardie board trim installation, the installation of aluminum awnings and EPDM Roofing.
The architect of record is Sutton Architecture.

This week's #PicsbyPicone feature our work at the Buffalo Museum of Science. A few short years ago, the museum previously operated with two domes, neither of which working as functional observatories. The domes were also not ADA compliant.
We got to work and constructed a new, state-of-the-art dome and made it so that the end product of this project was accessible to all guest of the Buffalo Museum of Science.

Picone Construction has recently begun the interior renovations to the first and second floors of Rental Assistance Corporation in downtown Buffalo on Franklin Street. The project, in total, will equal about 12,500 square feet of completed renovations to the existing concrete and steel frame, masonry building. Also included in the work is the installation of a new sprinkler system, installation of new walls, mechanical system, electrical and lighting fixtures, new floor, wall, and ceiling finishes.

This project consisted of renovating Roswell Park's 10,450 square foot existing space into an Intermediate Care Unit. Work involved creating fourteen new IMCU rooms with private, dedicated toilet rooms, wardrobes, staff work rooms, equipment and utility rooms, and decentralized nurse stations.
Additional program enhancements to the floor include a new family conference room and Nurse Managers’ and Intensivists’ offices in the occupied “core” of the eighth floor.

Picone Construction is set to begin the interior renovations to the cafeteria and serving station at Niagara County Community College. The scope of the work also includes renovation to the casework, finishes and equipment as well as the addition of a server and service spaces within the existing cafeteria. Modifications will be made to the cafeteria to accommodate the new construction, finishes, flooring and ceilings.
